Reiki Healing
Reiki: An Ancient Healing Practice
Reiki, translated from Japanese, means universal life force energy. It is a gentle, non-invasive method of hands-on healing. Although Reiki has been practiced in some form for centuries, the Usui form I practice was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1920's.
A Reiki practioner uses the universal life force energy to harmonize and balance a person's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels in order to allow the person's own body to heal itself. The Reiki practioner is simply a conduit or channel for the energy flow.
Reiki is not a religion; it is a healing process.
How Reiki Heals
Because Life Force flows through us, we are “alive”. This life-giving energy flows along pathways or channels in the body called meridians, chakras and nadis. It also surrounds us in an energy field called the aura. As this life energy flows normally through the body, nourishing and cleansing our organs and cells, it brings us good health and wellbeing. When the flow is disrupted or diminished to certain areas of the body by stress, mental/emotional problems or trauma in our lives, our body’s energy becomes unbalanced and we can experience health problems. Reiki, by bringing in renewing life force energy, brings our body’s energy back into balance and harmony, allowing the body to heal itself.
What can Be Treated
Reiki is both powerful and gentle. It has been known to effectively help with many illnesses and injuries. It is always beneficial and works to improve the effectiveness of many other types of therapy.
Reiki before surgery relaxes the body and after surgery, it reduces healing time and eases pain. Reiki anytime reduces stress.
Enjoy the relaxing, balancing and healthful experience of Reiki. I also treat animals. They, too, can experience the healing energy of Reiki
I just wanted to say how very helpful Vicka Lanier has been for myself, my husband, and my animals. She has worked with us, using Reiki and flower essences a number of times now. Each session has proved to be very interesting and always helpful. I have experienced for myself the difference she makes in relieving pain and decreasing medical symptoms. She compliments traditional medical treatment but has taken the healing to an even higher level for us. I would recommend Vicka's help to anyone. R.T., Park City, MT |
REIKI FOR VETERANS
Reiki can be very beneficial in the treatment of PTSD. Not only does Reiki bring in the energy to work on physical issues, it also works on the mental/emotional level as well. Reiki is a very effective stress reliever and promotes relaxation, thus helping the body and mind heal. (Oftentimes my clients are so relaxed during a session, they fall asleep on the table.) And if a person learns how to do Reiki for her/himself at a Reiki class, they will be able to give themselves Reiki to help keep the healing energy flowing all the time. Please call me for further information and to learn more about how Reiki can help you.
